What We Do

Origin story

I started 3D printing as a hobby. I love being able to use my creativity to bring ideas to life! I have a background in computer-aided design from studying engineering design and working in the aerospace and medical device manufacturing industries. I work with CNC machines (computer-controlled), which take a block of metal, or other material, and shape it into the design that is created on the computer design program. I originally created my first 3D printing project for my baby niece who loves teddy bears. After that, I made a few more projects for other family members and friends. After receiving all of the positive feedback that I did from these gifts, and because of the fun and joy I had doing these projects, I decided to turn this love and passion into a business. And thus, A New 3D Era was born. I love having the ability and freedom to utilize my creative mind for something fun and artistic, as well as, useful for professional engineering design services.

Why 3D printing?

3D printing was first documented back in the 1980s in Japan for rapid prototyping. However, it has only become more popular and widely used recently, with many cool and new 3D printing technology inventions. 3D printing houses, as well as, 3D printed rockets that are on missions to Mars are just two of the reasons why we are living in a new era in 3D printing.
